My last Plan Your Day blog post was around minimising distractions and anything which might take away from focusing on completing your task at hand!

Here is my final tip in this 5 part series …

Dog with pencil and notebook

Use a log to record your thoughts, conversations and activities over a working week, and how much time is spent on them.

Then take a few moments to look at your findings. This will help you see how much time and energy you are putting into being productive and where you may be wasting energy on unproductive thoughts, conversations and activities.

I hope you enjoyed this Plan Your Day Series and found it useful. If you have been implementing my suggestions over the last 5 weeks, I would love you to share what differences you have noticed in your approach to planning your day, and if you think or feel you have been able to achieve your outcomes more readily.
